When we were arranging the shoot Sam was worried that she didn’t have the right outfits for the shoot because she was very new to modelling and hadn’t had the time or money to build a modelling wardrobe.
Of course I told her not to worry about it and that the only must bring was herself. I’m not sure whether that did anything to reassure her, but when she arrived at the studio she was hauling a big wheeled case, so I guested her worries had been more about new model nerves than her wardrobe.
When we went through what she had brought Janine was smiling and giving me the thumbs up so I knew we would have more outfits than we had time to shoot. By the time hair and makeup were done Sam, Linda and Janine were chatting away like old friends.
Sam told us this was only her third shoot, but once we were in the camera room there wasn’t a trace of new model nerves, and she hit the ground running.
Chatting as we worked, it was quickly obvious that Sam had similar tastes in images to us, and by mid way through the shoot we already had plans for three more shoots, two of which would include other models.
As usual, time and energy ran out long before picture ideas and outfits.
One of the big advantages to shooting tethered in the studio is that we had all seen the pictures as they were taken, and Sam was wearing a big grin as we wrapped because she had been really pleased with what she had seen coming up on the screen.
We’ve had some pretty good shoots just lately, with some good models, but I can’t think of any where we’ve all enjoyed the work quite so much.
All shoots should be like this

Message* Well i used to think Sam was gorgeous .. Ive now come to realise .. she is DROP DEAD GORGEOUS . Ian you have captured her perfectly and you can see how much she enjoyed it .. She should be very proud and so should you . Mind you its easier to take goegeous pics when this is wt you have to work with .. once again .. well done
