Amber and I have been working, model and photographer in the same area for a few years now, and I kept seeing her images showing up on other local tog’s portfolios, but for some reason that escapes me, we never got around to working together.
I was pleased then, when I stumbled across her on Facebook just when I was booking project shoots for November.
We booked to shoot for my nude portrait project, followed my some artistic nudes.
We quickly found out why Amber is so popular with other local togs, she’s fun to have around 🙂
I often ask models to bring along a prop personal to them that we can use to give a different spin on an image.
Soft toys, items of uniform and sports equipment are common choices. Amber brought a bottle of champagne complete with ice bucket. This shoot was going to be fun 🙂
Her schedule meant this wouldn’t be a long shoot, which was a shame, not least because I’d asked her to bring her modelling wardrobe, hoping to get a chance to shoot some pop-beauty with her once the nude work was done.
She brought two cases of outfits but we didn’t get a chance to use any of it. – Well there’s always next time.
