Can my friend come?

I have to admit that when Keighley asked for another shoot I felt just a little guilty as I revisited my notes from our last shoot and the list of ideas I’d made for follow up shoots with her.

Its been a busy year.  That’s my excuse and I’m sticking to it 🙂

Top of that list was ‘artistic nude’ and ‘fashion style’

Top of my current to-do list was ‘to get out and shoot the autumn colours before they’re gone’.

The next step was obvious 🙂

It looked like the weather would be ok, but it’s november and November temperatures aren’t the first thing on your ‘must have’ list when planning a nude shoot in the great outdoors.

Fortunately for me, Keighley is made of stern stuff and shrugged off my concerns about the cold – definitely my kind of model 😀

Everything was arranged, then just a couple of hours before the shoot was due to start I got a message from Keighley.

“Is it ok if my friend comes along too, she’s thinking about taking up modelling and I thought it would be a good idea for her to see what happens”.

There was a spare seat in the car – so of course she could come 🙂

So Lorraine joined us and soon made herself invaluable acting as dresser for Keighley and as a very versatile lighting stand 😉

We were fortunate, it was a mild day and we even saw some sun.

Keighley starred, delivering shot after shot despite a cool breeze and more than the occasional dog walker.

We had to smile when one old guy stopped 30 yards down the path and stood watching the barely dressed Keighley.  When Linda walked past him on the way from the car, he apologised for staring saying his eyes weren’t too good, and for a minute he thought it was his wife …

Fortunately the stream of dog walkers petered out through the afternoon and as the light began to drop we had a chance to get out of the wood and onto the dam which had been the principal draw to the location, where we were able to snatch just a few shots of Keighley stood nude but for her stockings against the background of autumn wood covered valley, while Lorraine acted as look-out.

I’ve already told you that she was made of stern stuff, but I have to say the relief in Keighley’s face was almost palpable when I handed her a very warm down jacket and told her she’d be wearing that for the last shots of the day.

With the light falling fast I called a wrap, and as Keighley climbed back into the warm gear we’d given her, I said that we’d got some great shots, I knew she was very cold and I was happy to call it a day, but if she wanted to do more, we still had time to get an hour’s shooting in the studio.  what did she want to do?

Before Keighley got a chance to answer, there was a voice from the other side of the wall where Lorraine had been on look-out:

“She wants to go to the studio and do some more!”

Lorrain had come along to see what a shoot was like and whether she’d like to try modelling herself, so I was delighted when she went on to say she’d had great fun helping with Keighley’s shoot and would it be ok if she had a go in the studio?

An hour later, with Keighley beside her, Lorraine was posing nude in her very first shoot as a model, all credit to her, she’d grabbed the opportunity with both hands and was very obviously having great fun.

I’m certain it won’t be long before both are back in the studio, together and solo and we’re looking forward to it 🙂

Had a great time with Ian Lynda and lorraine, I think I’ve brought lorraine over to the dark side mwahhah! :)!
I love Ian’s work and probably the only photographer that will get away with telling me to take my knickers off lol!
But seriously one hell of a talented photographer Ian and Lynda lovely and talented people .

Can’t wait for the next projects!
And was a change having a friend on the scene very fun and energetic. I must say not particularly fond of a round spiky thing what I had in my butt from laying on the leaves lol
But worth it 🙂 the cold was also worth it 🙂

Thanks Keighley, getting good pictures is always easier when everyone’s having fun, and we got lots of good pix 🙂

I’m honoured to be the only photographer that could tell a good looking woman to take her knickers off and she does it – but I want to know where that particular skill was when I was a horny teenager lol

We’re both looking forward to working with you again soon 🙂

Well what can i say…

It all started as me being intreaged to what goes on at a photo shoot, and wanting to know what entailed being a model as its something i’d be interested in doing for a while. But lacked self confidence and wasnt sure i had the right figure to be able to do it.
After chatting in the car on the way to the shoot with keighley ian and his wife linda. i discovered it didnt matter what shape or size you were anyone could be a model, which made me consider it more.
When we arrived at location, i enjoyed so much watching keighley get to work and helping out being the memorable walking light stand. When ian then asked if we wanted to go back to studio i immedietly wanted keighley to go so i could watch her do some more.
As soon as we got back to the studio and helped unload everything, we were immedietly made at ease with linda and ian. Then i was asked if i wanted a go. I thought what the hell to it. (I was just glad i had keighley by my side to do it with me).
Then came the shoot i was nervous in the fact for my first ever shoot it was a nude one, i think ian could see i was nervous but straight away i was made to feel comfortable in front of the camera, and i must say it was the best experience ever i loved every second of it and i love the pictures that have come out of it.
I would like to thank ian for letting me have this experience, and im looking forward to getting back in the studio with him again to do my first solo shoot. 😀

Thanks Lorraine it was a pleasure having you on the shoot, and not just because you make a really good lighting stand lol
We were delighted too that you decided to shoot with us 🙂 and you did really well in your first shoot.

We’ll be working hard to make sure you have as just as much fun on your first solo shoot 🙂
