Disturbed Bump ?

When ‘Disturbed Alt’ fell pregnant, a bump shoot with her was a no-brainer and she thought so too, in fact this was only the first.

She was really excited about the shoot and her enthusiasm was infectious 🙂 so we knew going in that there was no way we’d be able to do all the sets we wanted.

The plan was to start with some classic shots, both nude and covered, but this was ‘Disturbed Alt’ so finishing the shoot without doing at least one alternative style set just couldn’t be done  🙂

Linda assists in the studio and often will pick up a camera and enjoys getting great off-angle shots and she had been looking forward to working with DA again, so I wasn’t surprised when after doing makeup, then playing posing coach and even spending time as a prop stand, she took the first opportunity to pick up a camera.

After that, I did manage to get the odd shot in when Linda paused for breath 🙂

Models that have worked with me will tell you that one of my favourite directions to them is ” If you are comfortable, the shot’s can be better ‘  ( tension, not comfort is what makes a shot ) but this is the first time a model has obviously been delighted at the discomfort when I asked her to lie flat on the hard wooden floor.

Having told us ‘Frankie’ had been very quiet so far, her laying on the floor had him kicking hard enough that both Linda and I could see him move 🙂

DA was as determined as me to get at least one alternative shot, and I knew she enjoyed rope work, so with time running out we gave her a simple rope harness that  emphasised the bump.  We all liked the look that gave us, so look out for more of that in our next shoot 🙂
