Jade, Beauty & Tats

We were delighted when Jade asked to come in for some beauty shots.  Having Jade in the studio pretty much guarantees a fun and productive shoot, it’s well over a year since we’ve worked together.

I’d hoped to bring in a MUA, but that hadn’t worked out, but in the event it didn’t matter and Jade and Linda got there heads together and came up with a couple of very effective classic looks.

We’d set up for a bare shouldered beauty shot with clamshell lighting, but when she slipped off her shirt I noticed a big tattoo I’d never seen before.  That prompted a tour of all the tats she’d had done since our last shoot and predictably, an addition to the shoot plan 🙂
It was Jade that commented with a wry grin that coming in for head and shoulders beauty shots and ending up near naked for 3/4 shots was what she’d come to expect when she shot with us 😀
Well it was hardly our fault that she’d got a cool new tat on her hip.  🙂
With the exception of an overheated flash head that forced a break in shooting, all went to plan and we were very pleased with the shots that were showing up on the tethered computer.
Jade worked hard and delivered as always, even after a full day at her day job but there was plenty more I’d like to have done, so we were careful not to let her out the door untill she’d promised to come back in soon 🙂

Comment for Jade, Beauty & Tats

Jade left this comment on one of her pictures. I thought it was worth bringing it out here 🙂

As always, an amazing shoot with Ian and Linda which I thouroughly enjoyed. The images I have seen edited and unedited are amazing and superceded what I was originally looking for. I love working with Ian, he is creative and talented and makes the model feel completely comfortable. Can’t wait to work with them again!
