Rock Chick

Despite several attempts, we hadn’t been able to match up our diaries and it’s been over a year since we last shot with Holly, but now we had finally got together, we were looking forward to a good shoot.

I’d asked her to come in to shoot art nude with an erotic edge for one of my projects and when we’d chatted over the plan, she’d said she really fancied trying a ‘rock-chick look as well.
We started with the nude sets and since we last shot, Holly had got herself a half sleeve tattoo that I wanted to feature.  It still wasn’t finished, but it was already looking good.
Holly is an experienced model, often working nude, so I was surprised, especially given her great figure,  to discover she’d never done a classic artistic nude set.
Not realising that, I started the shoot with standing nudes without props.  That’s about as hard as it gets for a model, who is called upon to deliver good looking shapes and curves with literally, nothing to support her or react to.  As it turned out, that meant there was more for me to do guiding her and helping with posing, but she learned fast 🙂
I think she quickly realised I wasn’t joking when I told her she’d go home after the shoot feeling like she’d done a work-out.  I always tell models new to nude work that being comfortable doesn’t make for good images.  Those classic graceful art nude images we’ve all seen belie the tension in the models body that is keeping every muscle taut.
All credit to Holly, she worked hard and delivered the shots I asked for.
With the nudes done Linda took Holly off to change makeup and select outfits for the ‘rock-chick’ sets.  I’ve learned that we get the best results when I pick out the wardrobe and accessories that I think would work well, then Leave Linda to work with the model to bring it all together.  As usual, that approach paid dividends 🙂Holly Estell Banner
We had time for two sets and we all enjoyed the change of pace.  Not that the work got any easier for Holly, or for that matter, any less fun 🙂  I always love it when the models take my most outrageous ideas and deliver them with a big grin 😀
By the time those sets were finished, We were all getting tired (Holly had been up at 5am to go for a run and Linda had been unwell but I had no excuse) so we ended the shoot with some chill time and it was entirely coincidental (honest) that that gave me plenty of time to get Holly to promise to come back soon to shoot again, maybe even with her partner, maybe to shoot again with Grace, and to confirm that she was up for a nude shoot at 5 rise locks – so early morning dog walkers in Bingley, keep your eyes peeled this summer 😀

I’ve posted this for Holly after a snafu:

I finally came back for a shoot after nearley a year, it was so nice to be back, i wanted to do a rock chick style so i could show off my new ink,we defentley did that. We had so much fun getting my make up perfect and picki g accessrise. Then it was for the hard work, i had to get into some right positions and felt like i was doing a work out. But it was all worth it as the pictures look amazing and all my friends cant beleive how hot i lool in them. Will be defentley booking another shoot very soon.
